Adon Castaneda -
Digging/Yard Foreman & Container/Irrigation Manager
A valuable member of the team, Adon became our Digging & Yard Foreman at the end of our 2007 season. With his can-do attitude and energetic personality he has taken extra responsibility in stride, even in the craziest of springs. He now also manages our Container and Irrigation systems. With his organization and communication skills, he is a vital link between the office and the field.

Eloy Castaneda -
Field & Container Production and Tagging foreman (1984-2008)
Eloy rivaled our computer systems for his ability to keep track of plants, information and projects. Since joining McHenry County Nursery over 20 years ago, Eloy aided in planning and supervising, working with Mary to develop standards in propagation, container growing techniques, and production cycles. Eloy often seemed to be in many places at once, but always there in a instant with a smile to answer a question, to tag, pull or load an order, or to take a customer out in the field.

The Nursery family and the Castaneda family were dealt a huge blow when Eloy passed away unexpectedly in Spring 2008. We feel his absence every day and his memory lives on in the nursery he helped build.
